| "Guardians of the Mayan Word" Pastel on Wood 24x348" I was always drawn towards the architectural monuments that employed the human form. I especially enjoy the "caryatids". This is when a figure replaces the cylindical elements of a column. Strength of women is something I feel is a much ignored aspect depicted in art. |
