| "Palenque Triad" Pastel on Wood 24x36" I was always drawn towards the architectural monuments that employed the human form. I especially enjoy the "caryatids". This is when a figure replaces the cylindical elements of a column. In the city of Palenque the number three was important. I wanted to touch on that as well. |
